Review by Neptune Abyss (Atroce, Canada) MMXIX
The Magnificent Abyssic Darkness calls once again upon the soul of the devotees of the Devil, and His Children answer the Call of the Abyss wholeheartedly. The glorious and undiluted essence of the Diabolical Path II is filled with hypnotizing soundscapes of uttermost Evil and inexplicable sombre mysticism...
Following the same idea as the Diabolical Path I, this compilation is a tenebrous gem for all those truly yearning for an intense immersion into penetrating Darkness.
The first track is a new version of the fabulous single "Mummu Tiamat" originally recorded for "This is Darkness" Vol.2 and also present on Homines Sacerrimi.
This almost 13 minutes track is one of the most bewitching track ever created by Corona Barathri, as it engulfs the listener into the darkest oceanic depths of the Mother Dragon and is still featuring the awesome guitar work of Ayzen Kaoz.
The second track "Draco Abyssi, Serpens Initialis" also featuring the amazing participation of Ayzen Kaoz is an exclusive version of the single "Misterium Evigilationis Leviathan" and is one of the best song featuring the mesmerizing voice of Lamia Culta. Here we encounter the Great Serpent of Genesis from the Hebrew lore and dive deeper into the mind-shattering madness of Ophidian Might.
The third track "Shir HaMavet" is an instrumental version of the track from the very first album called "Womb Ov Sheol" and is a perfect song for initiatic rituals with it's profound tribal atmosphere.
The fourth track called "Litania Antiquis" is an exclusive track in memory of the greatest horror novels writer: H.P. Lovecraft. It is a sinuous descent into the most incomprehensible depths of cosmic abominations and unadulterated haunted feelings of nightmarish terror filled with sumerian psalms that instigates a veritable malaise.
The fifth track "Edax Sanctitatis" is an exclusive work for the New Risen Throne project. This 11 minutes track is a great propellant of pure Satanic energies and is suitable for any opening ritual in order to attune the mind to the agressive darkness of Satanae. It is indeed a great feasting of holiness by the Great Diabolos and His disciples.
The sixth track "Antimonium" is a track recorded for the Ouroboros project. This flaming and oppressive song is a perfect track for diabolical trances and ecstatic chants.
The seventh and last track intitled "Black Sunday" is a pure psychotic horror-like track that sanctify the whole work with a feverish presence of otherwordly evilness and bewitching intentions, leading the listener to end his journey into the bottomless pit of Hades.
The Diabolical Path II is once again a must for every sincere adorer of dark ritual ambient, for all those truly daring to explore the atavistic dimensions of their true Higher Self and is also a great way of pactisation with the dark shades of our subconscious, ever present and never dormant.
Non Deficere Diaboli!
